    1. CRAWLEY, Richard; HRT,ENG>UT,USA; 1810-1968
    2. Ruth Staal
    3. CRAWLEY, Richard; HRT,ENG>UT,USA; 1810-1968 I am looking for relatives of Richard Crawley, born about 1810, Hertfordshire, England. He married Elizabeth Worsley , and they had three children - Elizabeth (1837), Fitzowen William (1839) and Richard (1850). Fitzowen (my great grandfather) had four children, three of which were born in England - Fitzowen William(1864), Gertrude Sarah (1870) and Annie Elizabeth (1870). A fourth child, Thomas Catlin, was born in 1877 in Guelph, ON, Canada. He was my grandfather. I assume the other three moved to Canada with their parents. Thomas remained in Canada, but one or more of the others must have moved to the US. Possibly the parents did, after Thomas was born, and Thomas moved back to Canada (B.C.) as an adult. He married my grandmother, Hulda Victoria Manson, in Vancouver, B.C. I would very much like to find a real live Crawley. I know little about the family, as my father was not raised by his father, but by a step-father. I didn't learn this until I was an adult, so I must have relatives somewhere! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Ruth Staal <[email protected]>

    3. MARCHANT, James; KEN,ENG > SSX,ENG > SRY,ENG; c. 1800 I am looking for a James MARCHANT that married a Sarah Ann BARTON of Hadlow, Kent Co., England. Children of James and Sarah Ann are Mary Anna, b. 7 Jan 1839, Jane, b. Mar 1841, Henry John, b. 6 Sep 1844, and William, b. unknown. I have birth certificates for Mary Anna and Henry John, both being born in Hadlow, Tonbridge, KENT Co. This is the home of Sarah Ann's parents. The Census records of Hadlow do not show this family living in the area in 1841. A survey of the parish records has not shown James as a resident of Hadlow prior to this time, either. James is listed variously as a laborer and a bailiff on other records. Mary Anna married a SIMS in SURREY CO. Jane lived with her sister in SURREY CO. and married a David FRANCOMBE in SURREY Co. I have marriage certificates for both marriages. Henry John came to America in 1869 and settled in Tuscaloosa Co., Alabama. William supposedly was in the British military and died while in the service. I would be interested in any information on James MARCHANTS fitting this description in the counties of KENT, SUSSEX and SURREY Counties of ENGLAND Thanks in advance! Don Marchant [email protected]
