Re: TAUER / SINGER; BOH,AUT>MN,USA; 1893- Am looking for others researching the TAUER and SINGER names. Hans TAUER and wife Margaret had son Josef TAUER, born 1872 in Hostau, Bohemia. Other children of Hans and Margaret may have been Margaret and George. Josef TAUER immigrated around 1893. He married Anna SINGER on 1895 in Redwood Co., Minnesota, USA. Their children were Joseph, b 1891 in Hostau; Ann Margaret, b 1895 in Morgan, Redwood, MN; and Katherine, b 1902 in Morgan. Josef Sr. died 1940 in Badger, Roseau, MN. Anna SINGER was b ca 1869 in Bohemia. She died 1949 in Badger, Roseau, MN. Her parents were Georg SINGER and Anna RIEWITZER(?). Siblings were Michael, Barbara, Joseph, Wentzel, and Katherine.
