Daniel TREACEY, son of Brien TREACEY and Catherine ? was born in Co. Clare c.1803; Daniel TREACEY married Catherine, daughter of Andrew HAYES and Bridget? Children of Daniel TREACEY and Catherine HAYES as follow: Bridget born c.1832 in Co. Clare; Ann b. c.1834 Co. Clare; Catherine born c1835 Co. Clare; Patrick, born c. 1836, in SCARIFF - Co. CLARE. Ellen, born c. 1839, Co. Clare; Mary, born c. 1842, Co. Clare; Daniel and Catherine TREACEY, and all the above children, emigrated to Queensland, Australia, on board the "JOHN FIELDEN" which arrived at Queens Wharf, Moreton Bay [Brisbane] on 11 June, 1853 (AONSW 4/4933; mfm 2465). Patrick TREACEY - aged 27 years, married Mary Ann RYAN [born c. 1835 at Westminster Road, near Lambeth, Surrey, England; parents Bridget and Patrick RYAN, an engineer]. This wedding took place at the RC Church, Rockhampton, Queensland on 13 June, 1864. Their children were: William born. c. 1865; Catherine, born. c. 1870 at Gympie, Queensland. Ann, born 4 March, 1872. Mary Ann, born 13 July 1874 at Ruthven Street, Toowoomba, Queensland, where Patrick Treacey was operating at a carrier. [This child died in infancy 1874].
