PIERCE Thomas / CHASE Almy; NS,CAN; 1762- Seeking information on the family and descendants of Thomas & Almy(Chase) Pierce. They were born in New England and married in the Trinity Church in Newport, Rhode Island in Nov. 1748. They emigrated to Nova Scotia about 1762 settling in Liverpool, Queens County. Thomas died in 1787. Thomas owned property in Liverpool and his occupation was caulker. He is mentioned several times in Simeon Perkins Diary. They had seven children: Persis - married 1st. George Giffen, married 2nd. Robert Dickson (Dixon). James - married 1st. Martha Hewitt in 1798, married 2nd. Hannah Ridgeway in 1838. John - married Nellie. Thomas - no information. Josiah - no information. Elsie - married Nicholas Goodwin. Amy - married Joseph Mills in Lunenburg Dutch Reformed Church on May7, 1781. The family spread out to Shelburne and Yarmouth Counties.
