KITCHEN / VAN CAMP Emma; MO,USA; 1861-1935 KITCHEN/VAN CAMP Emma; MO; 1861-1935 I believe that some of my WALKER ancestors lived in the "bootheel" area of Missouri for several years in the latter part of the 1800's. Emma WALKER (b 1861 Stockton MO, d Dexter (Stoddard Co), MO, for several years. Her father was Jesse C. WALKER (b 1828-1829 in Hendricks Co, IN, d 1895 Clay Co, AR). I'm not quite sure about her mother's name, but it may have been Elsa/Elisa/Eliza RANDAL (b 1833 Mississippi Co, MO, d 1868-1882). I believe Emma WALKER was married twice: Clement A. KITCHEN (married on June 7, 1882, in Stoddard Co, MO), and also to a man named VAN CAMP. I'm not sure about the sequence of these marriages, because she was married to Clement KITCHEN in 1882, and she was buried as "Emma KITCHEN" in Hagy Cemetery, Dexter (Stoddard Co), MO, in 1935. What is confusing is that she had at least one son, named Harvey VAN CAMP. From his obituary (dated about 1976) I estimate his birthdate to be sometime around 1895. He died in Lebanon, MO. So far I've been unable to discover any additional information about the individuals named above. If anyone has any information about these individuals or feels they have a connection, please contact me. Joan -- Email: [email protected]
