HEWITT, Henry; Staffordshire, ENG; 1862-1950 My grandfather was Henry HEWITT. He was born 3 June 1862 in The District of Cannock in the county of Stafford. His parents were John & Louisa (SAMBROOK) HEWITT. Henry was Baptised 29 June 1862 in the Parish of Norton Canes in The Diocese of Lichfield and County of Stafford. John & Louisa lived in Norton at this time. Henry married Jemima THATCHER on 27 July 1889 at The Congregational Chapel on Francis Road in Kings Norton, Edgbaston. The marrage certificate has Henry living at Vauxhall Road, Aston, and Jemma living at 8 Harborne Road, Edgbaston. George TAYLOR & Agnes HEWITT were witnesses to this wedding.
