MINALL, William; WIL,ENG > HRT,ENG; 1800-1881 Dolphin SMITH (1805-1885) farmed in Ramsbury, Wiltshire, until about 1845, when he moved to Water End, Sandridge, Hertfordshire. His daughter later married Jacob REYNOLDS of Hammonds and Heath Farms, Sandridge and St Albans. He (or his close family) also owned a farm at Wanborough, Wiltshire, throughout the century. I have just discovered that members of the MINALL family worked for the SMITH and Reynolds families in Hertfordshire - and also had links with both Ramsbury and Wanborough. It would therefore seem that William MINALL senior (born circa 1802, living 1881) may have been a trusty farm worker who moved to Sandridge with Dolphin SMITH and/or managed the farm in Wanborough before coming to Sandridge. I would be very grateful for any information that could help me to find out more about William MINALL and his family in the 19th century.
