Re: POWER; Liverpool, LAN,ENG; 1861-1891 - Gidday All, I am looking for my ancestor family between 1868 and 1891.I find them in the Ward of Abercrombie, Liverpool (unable to read the street name/no) in the 1861 Census. I then find the daughter (Norah) married in Toxteth Park (35 Beaumont Street) in the 1881 Census. She married John GARNETT in St Nicholas Church, Liverpool on the 11th February 1871. Then there appears to be no sign of them until the 1891 Census when I find Hiram at 4 Alderson Road, Wavertree with his wife Frances Iarrant FENTON. From this I found her in the 1881 Census at Ledbury, Herefordshire. In particular I am looking for Harry as I do not have a descendant for him. The family is: Thomas POWER (1819 Plymouth) Master Mariner. Elizabeth POWER (1819 Devonport) nee JEFFERY...wife. Thomas Mathew POWER (1843 Plymouth) residing in Valparaiso, Chile by this time. Norah Kathleen POWER (1849 Plymouth). Frederick Earnest POWER (1854 Plymouth). Harry Bailey POWER (1857 Liverpool). Hiram Alfred Jeffery POWER (1858 Liverpool). Both Harry and Hiram were christened on the 9th March 1859 in St Peter's Church, Liverpool. Although my main interest is in Harry I would like to know as much as possible about the others too.
