FULKERSON) Her obituary says Julia was born in Wilkes co., NC -William George HOWELL, b 23 Aug 1856, Wise co, VA; m. Lydia TRIPPLET who was b.in Lawrence co KY -John Wesley HOWELL, b. 23 Aug 1862 Wise co., VA; m. Mary HAMMONDS Alex served in Company G, Kentucky Capital Guards in the Civil War I appears that this line of Howells may have come from MARS. Any help would be appreciated.
