I am trying to track down who was the ancestor(s) who originally emigrated to America and where they were from. Several possible individuals were in the Latter Day Saints database: John Heady who was christened Jul 26, 1733 in Mentmore, Buckingham, England. His father, Jno, was christened Aug 9, 1730 in Burgh by Sands, Cumberland, Eng. If you surmise that perhaps they weren't christened right when they were born, but as they prepared for a major change like departing for America, maybe this could make sense. The problem is that we need John to be married to Phoebe by 1736.
