CLOUDSLEY; Glos, ENG; 1850- Dear All, Can anyone help?? My Grt Grandmother was Ellen Elizabeth Cloudsley. Born in 1888. In later life she lived in Minchinhampton, Gloucestershire but she may have been from one of the surrounding villages. Her father was James Cloudsley but I know nothing else about him. Is anyone researching this name at all or its variants Cloudesley, Cloudsly,Cloudesly??. Does anyone have any idea of the surnames origins. Any general Cloudsley information greatly appreciated.
