BASTOW / BAIRSTOW / BARSTOW / BASTOE; YKS,ENG; c.1794 Information sought on Rebecca BASTOW and associated family: Rebecca was christened on 20 July 1794 at Great Horton, Bradford, YKS She was the daughter of Abraham BAIRSTOW Mother not known. Her known siblings are a twin Isaac BAIRSTOW. and twin brothers Aaron and Moses,baptised 17-08-1796 Another "possible" sibling ( christened also on the 20-07-1794) was named Rachael Bairstow. Although the father is stated to be Abraham Bairstow, I have doubts it is the same individual as the parent of Rebecca,Isaac,Aaron and Moses as the occupations of the fathers are different. Rebecca married George SCHOLES, Wool Classer of Bradford YKS on 29 May 1821, She died in 1883, having been blind for 13 years. During this period she lived with her dau.
