HERBISON / MCFETRIDGE; IRL > NY,USA; 1832- Looking for info re: Herbison/McFetridge in Antrim Co. Hugh Herbison, married to Martha\Cuseing? Cureing? Cuning\. His son, Robert Hugh Herbison, b.1832, IRE; d.1899, NY Robert Hugh married Elizabeth (Eliza) McFetridge/McFeatridge (b. 1834-37, father - Hugh McFetridge) in 1855, Dunaghy parish, Antrim Co. They immigrated to New York from from Liverpoole in Dec of 1855. They settled in Falsburg, Sullivan Co. NY and had 9 children, Robert, Martha, Hugh H., Mary, Andrews, James, William, Elizabeth(?) and Samuel. Hugh H. was my G grandfather. He married Rosa Bley. He died at the age of 42 in Charter Oak IA, leaving Rosa a widow with 6 children: Dorothy, Louis Bley, Clarence Robert, Albert Hugh, Lena Irene and Ralph Samuel Louis Bley Herbison was my grandfather.
