ARNOLD, Sarah; Ballynahinch, IRL; 1840-1850 I'm looking for information on Sarah Arnold, who lived in Ballynahinch in 1844. I'm guessing Northern Ireland because the name sounds as though her family may have moved there from England. I don't know her parents' names or her date of birth or anything else about her. The only reason I know where she lived is that I have a sampler hanging in my home, which was done by her in 1844 in Ballynahinch. She's my paternal gg or ggg-grmo. I haven't been able to locate a genealogical or historical society anywhere near the Ballynahinch in Co. Down. If there's anyone out there in County Down, or near any other Ballynahinch, who would be willing to d a lookup for me on any Arnolds which may have lived there in 1844 (and maybe did they have a daughter, Sarah), I'd verymuch appreciate it. I don't know how old she'd have had to be to d a sampler, but she must have been at least five years old because the stitches are very well done. that'd put her birth in 1839 or earlier. Thank you.
