MESTON / METSON; ENG; 1853 I am researching my family history and have got as far as: Anne Elizabeth Meston (or Metson) of Knasebrough, Yorkshire born 1853 died 1916. Her father was Mathew Meston (1828). She had a child five years after her husbands death (my grandfather) and I cannot find who the father was. I would like to speak with anyone who is related to Metson (or Meston) from Knasebrough, Yorkshire or anyone who can give any advice on tracing the father of an illegitimate child.
