MCTAGGART, Neil; ON,CAN; 1832-1892 Neil appears in the 1871 Canadian Census as a Mariner aged 39 (that's how I got the birth year). He was married to Joanna GILCHRIST. They had 6 children, Willam (16) also a mariner according to the census, Neil (12), Frank (10), Donald (8), John (6), and Belle (4). He appears no where else. Someone gave my 2nd cousin a death year for Neil as 1892, but I'm not sure where that date came from. Can some one point me in the right direction to find out more about Neil?
