GABBITAS / GABYTUS; ENG; 1750- I would like to trace others who havemade a genealogical study of the Gabbitas family. My own research shows an origin for my branch of the family in lincolnshire in the villages at the side of the Trent back to the &-th century. The name is spelt in the middle ages as Gabytus.
