METCALF; Lincolnshire, ENG; 1748 I am searching for the surname Metcalf and variants in north Lincolnshire in the 1700s and 1800s. The oldest we have identified is William Medcalf who married Mary Button in Limber on January 31, 1748 (old style). My line descends from him through his son Joseph, grandson Joseph, and great grandson Samuel, who lived in Keelby. If there are any relatives out there please let me know. John L.
