BARTLETT George; ENG > CAN; 1920 Hi :) I am trying to help a friend in Birmingham, England. Members of her family were sent here as children in 1920 they were born in London, England. George Bartlett and Margaret Bartlett. Margaret seems to have lived with and then adopted by a Mrs. (William?) Ryan who lived at 367 Antoine St., Montreal. George did not fare as well, he had a succession of labouring jobs in Coben, Thurso, Russell and finished up in 1929 in Kars, Carlton county. After that there is a note "Left for the bush". He did marry as there is mention of a Mrs. Bartlett in 1931. George would have been 19 at the time. My friend would love to be in touch with any descendants of Margaret and George.
