PETER, Martin Lindsay; SCT>ARG; 1831- I have a Martin Lindsay PETER known as a "sheep farmer, South America". He was born, probably at Kirkland in Fife, baptised 1 Jun 1831 at Brechin, Keithock Parish. Seems to have emigrated in the early 1860s to South America. He curled at the Leven Curling Club in 1861, and again in 1881, having returned briefly to Kirkland, when he was described as a "Sheep farmer, South America". Any suggestions as to how I might proceed with this enquiry? There was also a John Peter who died in "South America" about 1878. David Morris Kimberley South Africa "D.
