ATKINSON; Heywood,ENG; 1800- Samuel Atkinson Born in Heywood Bury Lancs on August 25 1895 son of also Samuel Atkinson Mother (unknown) he had three brothers called Harry/ Herbert/ Arthur . Samuel married Mary Ann BANNER who I belief came from Warrington Lancs marriage date & place (unknown). They had 8 children 4 sons called John , Peter, Daniel, & Arthur (my farther ) & 4 daughters called Maria(May) ,Eillien,Marjorie,& Pat . Samuel served in the Lancashire Regiment and went to the trenches during the first world war were he was wounded . Samuel died on Feb 10 1954 in Heywood , Bury .
