ELSBURY Gabriel; BRK,ENG; 1800 Hi everybody, I am trying to track down information on the ELSBURY family and have so far found that Gabriel ELSBURY is my GGGrandfather. We have him on the 1881 Census in Reading, Berkshire together with his wife and 2 children. He was born at Sidmonton, Hampshire c1823. Is there anyone else out there researching this line? We are stuck as to who his parents were, or even where the family actually originated, or what variants on the spelling of the surname there are and its origin!!
