MAWHINNEY, Radcliffe; IRL; 1853-1929 I am looking for Radcliffe Mawhinney, born about 1853, somewhere in Northern Ireland. I have mortar dust imbedded in my forehead from this dumb brick wall. I have been looking for him for 10 years. I know that his father was Robert and Robert was a farmer that died about 1893. So far, the death certificates that I have found don't seem to match up. Radcliffe left Ireland for England. He married Hannah Eliza BRASSINGTON in 1880 in Bolton, Lancashire. They had 11 or so kids, moved to Montreal, Quebec where Hannah died in 1925 and Radcliffe in 1929. All seven of their sons served in WWI for Canada; two of them died there, John and Radcliffe.
