STANLEY William / WILLIAMS Annie; MO,USA/IL,USA; c. 1872 I'm looking for any information on William (M.?) STANLEY who married Annie WILLIAMS sometime before 12 March 1872. In 1872 their first child, Charles Franklin, was born in either Missouri or Illinois. (probably Missouri). I only know of one other child, although there could have been any number. The other child was Birdsall C. ("B.C."). The story is that William was a traveling blacksmith, and that Annie may have been dead by the time they reached Oklahoma, which would have been by 1894. William and Annie's son Charles reported his parents as being from someplace different in each census. He put William down as being born in Missouri, Kentucky, and Indiana. He put Annie down as being born in Nebraska, Ohio, and Wisconsin. Charles moved to Texas (Angelina Co.) and his brother Birdsall moved to Colorado and Arkansas (White River area).
