Know that Osborne Reese worked on the Erie Canal, c. early 1840s to early 1860s. He then moved his family, including his mother-in-law Mary TURNBULL FRYDENDALL and at least one other in-law, Elizabeth FRYDENDALL to IL. Then after Mary Turnbull Frydendall died March 15, 1863, Osborne moved his family to Norway, Benton Co. IA and farmed there until his death at age 53 years 3 month, 20 days, December 20, 1876. April 05, 1866 IL - conjecture he may have been named Hiram for his maternal uncle [Hiram Fredendall] and perhaps for a Hiram Reese in the Herikmer NY area; additionally belive Nelson may be for a Nelson Reese in the Herikmer, or Florence, or Montgomery NY Areas.
