    3. KREEFT Christopher; ENG; c. 1820 Christopher KREEFT was the Consulate General for Mecklenburg Schwerin in London in the 1820's. Could anyone suggest where I might look for information about him? I wrote to the German Embassy in London last year, but have not had a reply from them. I have found a copy of an article by him about 'The First Russian Railroad'. It had been translated from German, and he said that he was an 'Agent for the Company' which was set up to build the railway from St. Petersburg to Zarscoe-Selo and Pawlowski. I feel that he must have been born somewhere in Germany, to be representing them in another country. Any ideas or thoughts? Wendy UK "Wendy" <wendy@grange1.freeserve.co.uk>
