YOUNG, Richard Nash; Surrey, ENG; c. 1740 I have been trying ti trace the birth/birthplace of this gentleman who was a Second Lieutenant in the Marines between 1760 and 1795, when he died in May of that year. His Letters of Administration show that he was late of the Parish of St. Mary, Lambeth, Surrey and that he was a widower. I have tried to trace where he was from via the Royal Marines Museum and records at the PRO at Kew, but have drawn a blank. I am hoping that someone on the List is also researching YOUNGS and may have come across him, so I would be pleased to hear from you. I would also very much appreciate any suggestions as to where to look next please.
