COUSINS; WEX,IRL; 1800 I am looking for information on the COUSINS family from Wexford. My GT GT GT GF Richard Circa 1785 of Kilbraney? had a son my Gt. Gt. grandfather Patrick Cousins Circa.1810 of Kilbraney Wexford Ireland who married Alisa Keeffe and had at least three sons Thomas (my Gt. Grandfather) Richard and Patrick 1864 in Clonroche. Richard (son of Patrick) my Gt.grand Uncle married Johanna Redmond in 1864 and had eight children Richard 1865,James 1866 Mary 1868, Thomas 1872, Patrick 1875, Nicholas 1881,Lawrence 1882, John 1884 All believed to be born at Kilbraney or Carricbyrne Wexford Thomas Cousins (my gt GF)was a shoemaker and lived in Kilbraney Wexford. He was born in the 1840s. He Married Alice Quinn from Bryanstown In 1863 in Clongeen. They where said to have had thirteen children with at least two sets of twins. My grand father Richard Cousins was born in Bryanstown Wexford in 1863 along with his twin brother James, Mary born 1866, Twins John and Anne Cousins where born 1869 in Carricbyrne Co.Wexford and Bridget1871 also at Carricbyrne. I have been only been able to trace the above names as yet. Richard Cousins son of Thomas joined the army in 1886 in Wexford Ireland (The Royal Artillery) he was based at Seaton barracks Crown Hill Fort Plymouth. As well as Aden, Ireland and numerous barrack throughout England In 1890 he married Margaret Ellen Hoey in Plymouth Devon UK they had ten children seven of whom I have traced in the Liverpool area and one to Dunlaire Ireland.
