TIPPER,George; Scropton,DBY,ENG; 1839 George TIPPER was my maternal GGGGrandfather who was baptised in Scropton on 14 April 1839. He married Harriet Wison in Church Broughton on 16 October 1860. I know of six of his children, 4 born in Scropton, James b 1862; William b 1864; Eliza b 1867; and George b 1869. Then comes a gap until J. Thomas is born in 1878 and Albert in 1880. I imagine that there would have been others born between 1869 and 1878 but I have not found them yet. There were a lot of Tippers in the Scropton area at about that time but whether they were all related is unknown as yet.
