FOSTER; Middle in Teesdale, DUR,ENG; 1784- John Foster, a miner by trade, was married 1st to Mary Gedling 11 Jul 1784, then after her death to Jane Horsley 23 Feb 1794 both at Middleton in Teesdale. Of four children to the 1st marriage William b1790 and Molly b 1792 lived at least until they moved elsewhere. Thomas b1795 was the first son of the 2nd marriage. then they moved to Barnard Castle where Jonathon b1797 and Mary b1800 were baptized. there may have been more born elsewhere, but the next found were at Blanchland; Robert b1809, James b1811 (my gggrandf.) and Horsley b1814.
