CROOKER, George A.; OH,USA; 1847 Researching to verify whether or not George A. Crooker b. March, 1847 in Ashtabula, Ohio (married to a Malicia Midia________ in 1867) is the same George Augusta Crooker to migrated to Lauderdale Co., Mississippi. My records show that George A. Crooker's parents were Obed Harvey Crooker b. 7/8/1807 in Green, NY and Nancy Jane Strong b. c. 1810; married in Ashtabula, Ohio 1/23/1834. They also show a William Crooker b. c. 1785 and Abiail Harvey b. c. 1790 as being Obed's parents. This information was provided by IGI files from the LDS library. George A. Crooker had a son named Arthur b. c. 1878 in Ohio which would coincide with my gggrandfather, Arthur Breathart Crooker born June, 1878. I am trying to tie in the Mississippi/Ohio connection.
