Re: BROUILLETTE, Alfred Benoit; USA; 1863 I can help. He was my granfather, my mother was a BROUILLETTE, the 13th child. Alfred's father was Benoit T. Brouillette, born 28 March 1838. He married Domelise DUPUY in 1862, then Anaise Dupuy in 1868. He was a veteran of the Civil War, (although he did not see combat according to what my mother remembers he told them when she was a child). Alfred's mother was Domelise DUPUY. Benoit T. Brouillette was the (7th child) son of Jean Baptiste BROUILLETTE born 29 Aug 1745 in Vincennes, IN, married first to Rosalie GASPARD on 01 Jan 1821 then on 18 May 1826 to Brigitte DUPUIS. He died in Avoyelles Parish in 09 Jul 1845. If you wan't to go back further, check out the Avoyelles Parish web site.
