KEARNS; DOW,NIR; 1870- Hello: Tracing my KEARNS ancestors. My g-grandfather Thomas C. KEARNS was b. 1880 in Dewsbury Yorkshire to John Francis KEARNS and Margaret HILLING. Younger children of the marriage were Margaret(d. age10) and Henry. Unable to locate a b. cert for John Francis, nor a marriage cert for Thomas and Margaret as of yet, in either ENG or IRL. The family moved back to Down, where they lived in Newry at 1 Bridewell Row(road?) and 20 Princes St., and later 45 High St. There are descendants of Henry KEARNS stil in Newry, but I have been unable to get in touch with them.
