DEVINE; CAV,IRL; 1840 Hello all, I'm looking for my GG Grandmother - DEVINE Catherine, we believe she originated from County Cavan. Catherine was married to my GG Grandfather - HOUSTON Neil,we believe that they were farmers in county Fermanagh. They had an only son - HOUSTON Patrick, born 1845. HOUSTON Patrick emigrated from North Ireland to the area of Hamilton, Lanarkshire, Scotland prior to 1898. HOUSTON Patrick married McGourlick Ann,between 1875 and 1898,in Hamilton, Lanarkshire, Scotland. HOUSTON Patrick still controlled land (leased or owned) in County Fermanagh,area (Dromore?)North Ireland. Apparentely he turned over control of the land to McGourlick Ann's relatives with the surnames of McCusker and or Mcgourlick, who lived within the area of Fermanagh Co. North Ireland.
