GOODWIN,James; Bakewell,DBY,ENG; 1801 My maternal 4x great grandfather James Goodwin was born in Bakewell, Derbyshire on 3rd November 1801 according to the CD Rom at the LDS. I know the IGI details should be taken with a pinch of salt but one has to start somewhere. James was married on 3rd September 1821 in Bakewell to Hannah Bagshaw. His parents were, again according to the IGI, Thomas Goodwin and Eunice Smith. James and Hannah had 5 children; Diana 17.10.1821 Solomon 01.07.1824 Rosannah 02.03.1827 Sarah 04.10.1829 (my 3x G grandmother m.
