COXON Thomas; ENG; 1783 Thomas COXON married Mary CRAWFORD (born Widdrington,NBL) on Dec.11th.1814 at Longhorsley, NBL. Looking for Thomas's birthplace and parents. Thomas died at Hetton-le-Hole, DUR in 1827, aged 44 years, making his birth date 1783. I have found only one Thomas born in that year, on July 29th, to Thomas a miner, and that was at Newcastle All Saints, NBL. Thomas had two sons born at Longhorsley - Michael & William, then moved on to Medomsley, DUR and had four more sons - John, Mark, Thomas & James, then had a son called Andrew (after Mary's father) at Tynemouth, before he moved to Hetton-le-Hole. Thomas worked as an agricultural labourer and then in the last three years of his life, as a coal-miner. Don't know if Mary married again?
