WALKER George H / MICKLES Amelia; ON,CAN; 1870-1901 Hi Listers: We are seeking information on George H. Walker and Amelia Mickles Walker. George was born in 1870 in Bancroft, Hastings Co., Ontario. Amelia Mickles emigrated to Canada from Germany with her family in 1890. We do not know Amelia's father's name or where they came from in Germany, although it was possibly in the Berlin area. Is there some kind of index to look up names of immigrants to Canada? We know that George and Amelia were living in Holmfield, Manitoba on the 1901 census. They subsequently moved to ND in the USA.
