ROSS Fred Alfred; NY,USA; 1869 I am trying to find out about the place of birth and parents of Fred Alfred Ross. We think that he was born in Plattsburgh, NY. His date of birth is known to be March 7, 1869. Fred Ross' father disappeared when he was very young. There was a story that the father moved to Montana and started another family. Fred and his mother then lived with a Mr. Bopp who supposidly came from Boston. As a child Fred was a well known roller-skating champion in and around Montreal, Quebec.
