CALLAN, James; IRL>New York, NY,USA; C. 1885-1889 I am looking for information about my paternal grandfather James Aloysius Callan born circa 1885, died 1957. I understand father (name unknown) and Mother, Kathleen or Katherine (nea Naly) immigrated to NYC, USA circa 1899. Had a daughter, name unknown. Father died, mother married a McCormick (sp?) who was an iron worker in NYC who worked on a famous ("Iron") building in NYC. They had several children. Grandfather never spoke much about family.
