PIDGEON; ENG; 1780-1999 Are there any PIDGEONS in Ireland. Searching PIDGEONS who came originally from Dorset, England. My grandad is Fredrick George PIDGEON, (born 1914 living in South Wales) his father was Frank PIDGEON born in Chard, Somerset (1875-Sept 1965), his mother was Lizzie Fish. Recent e-mails have told me that the only Frank PIDGEON in Chard Somerset in 1881 was 5 years old and the son of Daniel (1836) and Jane PIDGEON (1835). If this is the case and Daniel and Jane are the parents of Frank the following would be Franks brothers and sisters (Note the spelling of the surname) Flora PIGEON (Chr 1859) DORS Thormcombe Hugh PIDGEON (Chr 1863) DORS Thorncombe Anna PIGEON (Chr 1865) DORS Thorncombe Richard PIGEON or PIDGEON (not shown) (1872) DORS Thorncombe Frank PIDGEON (Chr 7/11/1975) DORS Thorncombe Bessie PIGEON or PIDGEON (not shown) (1879) SOM Chard Jesse PIGEON (1857) DORS After moving from the area I believe there were other children, my grandad is sure there was a James PIDGEON. He also recalls Siranne and Arthur but is not sure if there were PIDGEONS or his mothers family which were FISH.
