    3. Re: HAWKINS Wm; OXF,ENG; -1784 Its pretty ironic that your message should come up today....only today I came across a site in Austalia of a chap that has a Henrietta HAWKINS who was born in Merton, Oxfordshire in 1814...her father was William HAWKINS and her mother Sophia HARTIN. I too have a Mary HAWKINS who was born in Oxfordshire who married a Thomas REYNOLDS in Piddington, Oxfordshire in 1834....Wooton, Merton and Piddington are located only a few miles from one another. I am heading to this part of the world on the 31st of March to research the REYNOLDS and HAWKINS connections....need any help? Judy Reynolds Decker bluroo@aol.com Virginia Beach, VA

    3. AGAR; Lastingham + Farndale + Gillamoor, NRY,ENG; c.1694-1807 Rebecca AGAR, of the parish of Lastingham, YKS,ENG, married Benjamin PEACOCK of the parish of Kirbymoorside, YKS,ENG, by banns, 30 Dec 1806. A tentative pedigree, yet to be proven, suggests that Rebecca may have been a daughter of Jonathan AGAR & Mary CLARK (m. 1771, Lastingham) and a grand-daughter of George AGAR & Elizabeth HAWKSWELL. Seeking any information to prove or disprove this theory. There may be a connection with AGAR of Farndale YKS. A headstone in St.Aidan's churchyard, Gillamoor YKS, could be for Rebecca's mother. It reads: 'In memory of Mary AGAR, wife of Jonathan AGAR, died [?27] Jan 1794 aged [?47]. *************************************************************** Judy Webster, PO Box 5043, Algester, QLD 4115, Australia. 3. KELLETT; ENG>USA; c. 1883 Would anyone have knowledge of Joseph KELLETT and his wife, Mary Ann (MAGUIRE,) both born c1859? They were in Lancashire, England for the census of 1881 and for the birth of their first child, Henry, in 1882. After 1882, we're having difficulty tracing the family in England and feel they may have travelled to North America about 1883 as did other family members. Any information would be very happily received. Thank you! Joan _________________ Joan McCarron Nova Scotia, Canada mccarron@ns.sympatico.ca (Joan McCarron)

    3. COLLINS Wm; OXF,ENG; 1765 William Collins married Elizabeth Bennett in Charlbury, Oxon in 1765. They had three children that I know of, John (who I think died about 11 months later), Mary and Elizabeth. Does anyone recognise this family and know of any more children? In the same parish register is an entry for baptism of William Collins son of john & Rebecca in 1737. Could be the same William but I have no proof. Anyone recognise them or know anything further about John and Rebecca. Please reply to heather.aston@sukhoi.demon.co.uk Thanks
