SETTLER Sarah; DEU > Baltimore, MD,USA; 1861 Hi Guys, Researching my Great Grandmother, Sarah Elizabeth Settler. She was born here in Baltimore, July 10, 1861 and died December 1, 1920. Very little information on the name Settler. I have found the name in German phonebooks, but have gotten no response from anyone. All I know is from the baptismal records from my Grandmother and her brothers and sisters. The one fact I know is that she was not Catholic, which the Priest made sure was plain to see on the baptismal records. If someone could shed some light on a possible religious affiliation for the name Settler, I would be most appreciative. I can then check the church records available at the state archives.
