DURKIN, Honora; IRL>USA; 1847 I recently received an E-Mail to a query that I had sent out on the DURKIN Family. The E-Mail mentioned Honora DURKIN who was born 10 NOV 1832 in Swinford, County Mayo and arrived in New York on 8 April 1847. It listed her parents as John DURKIN and Bridget (maiden name unknown). Since my great grandfather Edward DURKIN's parents were also listed as John DURKIN and Bridget ??? on his marriage certificate, I am curious if anyone knows if Honora had any brothers? BRADY, Bud; Iowa, USA; 1900- Am looking for information on my paternal grandfather BUD BRADY.probabley born sometime between 1907 and 1909 (was listed as 27 years old on my fathers BC) It is possible he was in the military (Army?) and stationed in IA (?) at the time he met & married my grandmother. There is some talk of a obsolete (Ft. Des Moines?? ) (can't find it on a map) military post in So IA, No MO or maybe No IL. Here's what I have. Married a Fern Louise Perdue (20 Oct 1913 - 5 Dec 1971) from IA (Wayne Co, possibly Decatur Co.) Fern's Parents were William Randolph Perdue ( 8 Aug 1883 - 16 Jul 1941) Mattie Leota Hutchenson (15 Sep 1885 - 13 Mar 1965) They were probably married in Iowa ( my BC lists that as my father's birthplace). Most of my GM family is from the High Point/Leon/Woodland/Clio areas of IA (So IA) They had 1 son, Kenneth L. Brady (25 Mar 1934 - ) They later divorced ?? and Fern moved to Southern CA (Orange Co.) sometime before ? W.W.II late thirties most likely (my father only remembers So Cal.) Please either post a response, or e-mail me direct -- mbrady@cwo.com Thanks for your help M Brady
