We are trying to trace any references to Glaysher. We know William Fred Glaysher(my grandfather) was born in Horsham but moved to Oakley when he was quite young. He had a lot of brothers and sisters one of whom owned an Iron Mongers in Horsham. We think some time in the past a member of the family moved to the United States. DIXON; Bladon, OXF,ENG; 1900- Help please. I am researching my mothers family. Her mother was BERTHA ETHEL DIXON , one of TWELVE CHILDREN of GEORGE DIXON and ELIZABETH (nee FRANKLIN) of BLADON, OXFORDSHIRE Family links were broken when Bertha left to come to Lancashire around 1898 and she only returned for her mother's funeral in 1925. My mother was then 6 and remembers this. She did not return for her fathers funeral in 1934. I think she did correspond with her sisters initially, but not for long. Because of this - I have very little knowledge of her family except what I can glean from Parish Registers. For the DIXON 'Girls' i have been able to find their marriages at Bladon and now have married surnames. But what happened to the 'Boys'? I cannot find any record of their offspring being baptised at Bladon or surrounds. (except the youngest son Gerald) I hope somebody can give my som assistance - here goes Annie Blanche b 1875 m James Beagrie of Lincs Elizabeth (Minnie) b 1876 m James Jarvis of Leic George (twin) b 1876 Mabel May b 1877 m Frank Dudley of Beds Bertha Ethel b 1880 (my gma) m Alfred Legge of Eccles, Lancs Beatrice Eva Emma b 1882 m Alfred Wiggins of Berks Kate Elizabeth b 1885 Albert Wallace b 1887 Cecil Harold b 1889 Daisy Franklin b 1891 m Walter Sheppard of Somerset Violet Marie b 1892 Gerald b 1898 m Daisy Gwendoline Bradley Any info would be wonderful TIA Sylvia Young Lancashire, England "Sylvia Young" <sylvia@younghome.freeserve.co.uk>

RADCLIFFE, Edward; ENG; 1535-1554 Hi All, I am new to this list and hope you can help me with a very weak link in my line. I have Edward, b. either 1535 or 1554, s. of Humphrey Radcliffe and Isabell Harvey. Have found either 2 Edwards for this couple or 1 Edward with 2 different birth years. I also have a dtr. Eleanor for him b. abt. 1552, Elstow, Bedfordshire, d. 20 Nov. 1628 also in Elstow. If her birth date is correct, then probably the 1535 date is correct for him. However, I have not been able to find any wives or other children for Edward. Beginning to think Edward was a figment of someone's imagination. Desperately need help! Thanks for any little wisp of a hint. June JWood7311@aol.com

RICHARDSON, Aaron; ENG>OH,USA>IN,USA; b. 1773 My ancestor, Aaron Richardson, was b. 7/11/1773 in England, according to a family bible. His brother's name was Daniel. This is all I know. I know the name is very common-if no one has a connection, could someone suggest how I might go about locating the exact place in England? Are there any "hot" places for Richardsons for that time period? Aaron was a "New Light" minister, which I have learned is a type of Presbyterian. He was in the Cinncinati, OH area by 1799 and was in Indiana by 1817. RENZIEHAUSEN / RENCEHAUSEN / YARDLEY; HAN,DEU > USA or AUS; 1780- Did I locate the origin of all RENZIEHAUSENs?
