SEBBON / SEBON; MDX,ENG; 1700-1820 SEBBON/SEBON; MDX,ENG; 1700-1820 Does anyone have any connection to this family who appear to have been substantial citizens of London and Islington in the 18th and early 19th century? The surname appears to have died out in the mid 19th century. My connection is via Sarah SEBBON born 1724, wife of Thomas SKINNER, daughter of Walter and Sarah. Any references to this surname are welcome. Sue Rose ([email protected])
STANNELL / STANWELL; MDX,ENG; 1800-1900 STANNELL/STANWELL; MDX,ENG;1800-1900 Does anyone have any information on the above surnames? Earliest known reference is to William (born c.1811) and Susan STANWELL who had children baptised in Hillingdon, Middlesex in 1830s. Some of their children moved to Heston, Middlesex where the name becomes STANNELL. There may also be a connection with STANNETT. Thanks Sue ( [email protected] )

DELGER; Oldenburg,DEU; 1572- I am looking for descendants of the Delger family of Nordloh-Apen, Duchy (Hertzogtum) of Oldenburg, now Niedersaschsen, Germany. This is very near the Dutch/German border. I have quite a bit of info on the ancestors and descendants of Arendt/Arnold Delger, who came to Ohio in 1844, then in 1856 to Minnesota with 2 sons and at least one nephew: August Arnold, Conrad H., and Conrad A.B. According to family lore, there were other Delgers who came in the 1840's and 1850's, and spread across the Dakotas and Montana. I understand there are lot of Delger families in Holland. The name seems to have originated somewhere in the region between Groningen and Oldenburg, and I have never been able to find out its derivation. I also am curious: how do the various families pronounce the name "Delger"? With a hard German "G" like in the English word "Girl" or a soft "J" sound like in "Giraffe"? BLEYWEERT / BLYWEERT, Albert; BEL>FL,USA; 1908- Hello genealogists in Florida. I am searching place and date of the death of Albert BLEYWEERT and Annie BLEYWEERT and place and date of their marriage. Albert (Albertus) BLEYWEERT, born in Wachtebeke (Flanders - Belgium) 20.07.1871, son from Josephus Bleyweert and Maria Van de Walle left Antwerp on 01.04.1908 with destination Litbrits, Alberta, Canada. We think he went from their to the USA. On 10.03.1921 he arrived in the port of New York comming from Antwerp on the SS Finland (he visited his brother in Flanders) and from there went to Santa Rosa (Florida). In a book belonging to his siter-in-law we found the address of Annie BLEYWEERT. In the fourties she lived in Lake Worth, Florida (county of Palm Beach), Nor 7/92 Lintfel. We know that the sister-in-law of Albert was regularery corresponding with Annie. So I think Annie must be his wife. I think also that he married after his arrival in Florida in 1921. Thanks for helping me. Paul BLYWEERT Voskenslaan 85 9000 Gent (Flanders - Belgium) e-mail: [email protected]
