Re: PALMER, Dora May; PA,USA; 1868 Sally, Do you know the names of her parents? My dad's cousin has done all the hard work and shared with me the results of our PALMER line. Some of the Palmer's in my g-g-grandfather's line I do not have branches, but these Palmers were from Ohio and some moved to Pennsylvania. (My great-grandfather did) I think my grandmother and her siblings were the first Palmers to be born in PA. (Her parents were born in Ohio) Let me know if you'd like me to give you part of my line to see if anything might match what you have. My dad's cousin has the line going all the way back to the 1500's in Germany. OUr name was changed to PALMER when they came to the US. It was BALMER in Germany. GRAHAM / OWNSWORTH; Regina,SK,CAN>MEX; 1900-1976 I'm trying to track down the family of my father's (John Walter Ownsworth) sister Freda(Alfreda Olive Ownsworth). She married (at an Oxford Registry office in UK c.1952) a Candian lawyer - Jim Graham (father's initial not known but was believed to be a Judge Advocate in Regina b. c. 1920) then they went back to Regina where Jim practiced law for a while. They had two children b. c. 1956 - Jamey(James?) and his sister Freddie(Alfreda?). I believe Jamey may have gone into hotel management. Jim and Freda may have moved/retired to Mexico perhaps an area called Puerto Callaria, Falisco,MEX sometime before 1976. They are likely to be in their late 70's if still alive. If you have any knowledge of this branch of my family, I would be please to hear from you. Thanks "Martin Ownsworth" <OPc@Tesco.net>
