William Harris was born around 1815 in SC. He married a Rachel, born around March 1823 in SC. They had several children in SC, moved to AL sometime in the 1850s, and had some more children in AL. The known children are: Savannah, Alice, Monroe, Laura, 'Judge', and Edmond Herbert. I'm sure that there were more children because Savannah is the known oldest, and there is a 20-something year gap between S and the youngest, Edmond Herbert. Has anyone run across these people? I live in AL, and I have no idea what county W. and R. came from. I've done an extensive online search for their marriage record, but I could not find it. Thanks, Amy Harris Brown
