My Grandmother Gertie Simpson was born on March 20,1887 in Tomnolen Mississippi . Her parents were John W. Simpson born Aug. , 1847 & Mary L. Simpson born March , 1851 . They had three children ..... (1) Sulwin ? b. Feb. 1881 (2) S. Ethel b. May, 1885 (3) Frederick b. March 16,1869 d. Dec. 8,1941 My Grandmother Married My Grandfather E. Allen Peacock on Dec. 12,1909 They had two children. Alma born March 31,1914, Alma died at the age of 18 on July 21,1931 . My father Judge James Peacock born Jan. 8,1916 died March 28,1983. My Grandfather died April 19,1931 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ John W. McWhorter was married to my Grandfather sister Georgia Peacock they had five children . Georgia died the same year as her brother. My Grandmother married Mr. McWhorter in 1936 . John McWhorter died in 1958 he is buried next to Georgia at Ebenezer Baptist Cemetery.
