MORROW and MAURO (spoken the same way) . both of these names are in my family. Some took the name spelled one way and the majority spelled it MAURO. they all spoke it the same. It was changed upon arrival on Ellis Island. Some say neither was the original. Anyone know? -----Original Message----- From: Amy Brown <sab@tallassee.net> To: SURNAME-QUERY-L <SURNAME-QUERY-L@rootsweb.com>; ROOTS-L <ROOTS-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Thursday, March 12, 1998 9:43 PM Subject: Fw: MORROW, James M. / Jackson's Gap, Tallapoosa Co.
