In previous posts(several months back) I was searching for the parents of William A(Albert probably) Price, born around 1880 in the Tallapoosa County area. I found in the 1880 Soundex an A.B. Price who was married to an M.A., with children EJJ and WA, WA being only 2 months old. In the 1910 Soundex, William A and his family were living in Tallapoosa County. William was 30 years old, his wife 23, and my ancestor, Albert Joel Price, was 6 years old. In the entire 1880 Soundex for AL, this was the best match. In the 1900 Soundex, A.B. and his family just disappeared. I looked through the entire A and B, plus the Williams in case he was on his own by then, but nothing. Does anyone have an ancestor from this time with the initials A.B.? It's an oral tradition that the names or nicknames of William's parents were Bud and Mandy. If you look at the initials, that could very well fit into their names. Could the initials stand for Albert Bud(doesn't make much sense to me) and Mary Amanda, Margaret Amanda, Mandy ? ? Thanks, Amy Brown
